These numbers represent investigations, arrests, and other activity conducted by County Detectives and not the overall number of such cases prosecuted by the District Attorney’s Office.  

The Detective Unit of the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office is staffed by sworn police officers empowered to enforce the laws of the Commonwealth throughout Monroe County.  Detectives conduct proactive and reactive criminal investigations and make arrests as warranted.
